Do you think Allardyce will get a new contract?
This should not be a debate on whether or not you think he should get a new deal or not, but at what decision do you think the club will arrrive at?

Only 1 of 3 answers, YES, NO, DON'T KNOW..

I'm putting some confidence in Sullivan to do the right thing, so a NO from me..

Yes.

He's about to become Barcelona's greatest ever manager.

He's not coming back from his Spanish holiday.

Least you're honest enough to admit it, stomp.

Plenty who never would though.

I also thought the Dildo Bros would be conservative and keep him.

Soooo glad I was wrong.

Re: Do you think Allardyce will get a new contract?
Just when you thought you couldnt respect Parkes anymore....

In a no punches pulled exclusive interview with ClaretandHugh the brilliant former keeper declared as we told him the news: “So it’s official – thank God.”

And he added: “I’m not surprised. I didn’t watch the game today just as I have tried to avoid watching for the past two or three months. I can’t watch that stuff and I have felt so sorry for our fans who have paid to do so. It’s been dreadful.”

Parksey poured brutal scorn on every reason for keeping Allardyce declaring: “They say he keeps teams up but had it not been for a lucky start when he couldn’t play Andy Carroll we’d have been in the same position as Newcastle today, or perhaps even worse.

“I’ve never seen him as a safe pair of hands but I’ve seen him provide come awful football. Some of it has been as bad as anything I’ve ever seen at this club.”

Re: Do you think Allardyce will get a new contract?
After the interview the chairman gave at the end of last season to talksport I always thought it would be impossible to give him a new contract.

I think Sam always knew that. There's one thing to be good at your job but at the end of the day no one likes working with people they hate. You'd be a fool to renew a contract for someone you have dissed publicly like the chairmen did.

And then to reinforce the point and win 1 game in 5 months is just silly. I don't know why all these commentators think Sam has done a good job if he bareley won a game in the second half of the season with only 1 major injury. Strange.

So who else, apart from me, called this correct back in mid-March?

You forgot to mention that no-one else wants him either.

There have been a fari few clubs this season alone that have sacked managers and all of them have known that Sam's contract is up at the end of the season (so little to no compo due) yet they have opted for the alternative - that speaks volumes.

Re: Do you think Allardyce will get a new contract?
Since when was business sense anything to do with lazy stereotypes?

The players won't play for him, the fans don't want him, he can't be trusted with transfer policy, he's totally uninspiring but yes he somehow guarantees safety from relegation. Yeah, like the Titanic was "unsinkable".

ffs.

Re: Do you think Allardyce will get a new contract?
she thinks from a business sense, Allardyce will always keep us up, that's the be all for the new stadium .

So on that basis why don't we just offer him a ten year deal then? For the next ten years we would be guaranteed a top 10 finish and "stability".

Re: Do you think Allardyce will get a new contract?

Do I want him out ?, yes of course, he is universally hated and rightly so for some of his actions and team selections

Do I think he's going ?, well I do have this horrible gut feel that Brady will hold sway over Sullivan when it comes to decision time, she thinks from a business sense, Allardyce will always keep us up, that's the be all for the new stadium .
